CHALLENGE CAPE TOWN 2021 is going to be an exceptional event- we have a TON of “new” factors; a new race director (Damian “The Man” Bradley), a new focussed venue (Bloubergstrand), a host of fantastic new sponsors, a new mobile app (launching soon)…. and- our new 2021 Bike and Run routes!

“We believe that the route change will not only make it easier for all athletes in terms of logistics with only one transition area for T1 and T2, but will make the racing fast and fun”, says Damian Bradley, Race Director. “The route will be appealing to all levels of athlete, from the first time to the experienced age grouper and pro athletes. This is going to an exciting and strategic course”.

πŸ‘‰ Turnaround at 3.5km mark

This run route has gentle inclines/ declines in the lap, but nothing that is too crazy. It will provide the perfect opportunity to chase a time (or a competitor). You finish on the grass area of Eden on The Bay, where the warm welcomes of fellow athletes (and hopefully spectators- COVID depending!) will bring you home!
